This item was specially devloped at the request of salon owners who wanted to prevent unauthorized removal of products from their salons. In order to make it very noticable, we fill 5 lbs of gel in a one gallon bucket. This makes the bucket appear half filled. 

Please be assured that we are not cheating anybody. You are definitely getting 5 lbs of gel. It is just sold in a larger bucket. If we were to fill that one gallon bucket all the way, it would contain 10 lbs of gel.
